A long-awaited work that presents us with both a fine-tuned and well-researched biography of Dr. Edward Bach (presented against the backdrop of the historical, social, cultural, medical and esoteric context of his time), as well as the subsequent history of the Bach Center and the influence in the field of Floral Therapy of relevant figures such as Julian Barnard, while offering us a whole set of thoughtful reflections on what flower essences are and how they work, the extreme importance of nature and flowering plants in this work, the varied contributions of the different “collections of floral essences”, and the challenges that what we have come to call “Floral Therapy” is currently facing, which in this work is intended to vindicate and dignify.
